Begin your journey with an introduction to the history of Quinta do Vallado and the family behind this renowned Douro estate, followed by a captivating virtual reality tour through its vineyards and cellars.
The experience continues with a tasting of six single-varietal wines, each crafted from indigenous grape varieties of the Douro region: Prima, Ensaio*, Touriga Nacional, Sousão, Tinta Roriz, and Alicante Bouschet.
*The Ensaio wine may be made from one of the following grape varieties — Arinto, Rabigato, or Gouveio — depending on availability at the time of the tasting.
It is a unique opportunity to explore the distinctive character of each grape and gain a deeper appreciation for the diversity and richness of the Douro terroir.

Housed in a historic 18th-century building, fully restored in 2024, Poente by Vallado is spread over four floors with privileged views over the Douro River.
Poente includes a Wine Shop, Wine Bar and Restaurant, Tasting Room and a Room for Private Events
