Small-Group Wine Tasting at Quinta da Levandeira do Roncão, Douro
Here is what's in store for you
Discover Quinta da Levandeira do Roncão in the Douro Valley through an intimate small-group wine experience at this traditional family-run estate.
Your visit begins in the vineyards, where you’ll learn about the unique terroir and grape varieties that define the wines of the Douro Valley, one of the world’s oldest wine regions.
Continue into the winery to explore both traditional and modern winemaking techniques, including the iconic stone lagares used for grape treading, fermentation tanks, and the ageing areas filled with oak barrels and large wooden vats. As you walk through the cellar, you’ll understand how different ageing methods shape the style and complexity of Port wine.
The experience finishes in a relaxed tasting room, where you’ll enjoy a guided tasting of three Port wines: a crisp White Port, a fruit-driven Ruby Port, and a smooth, aged Tawny Port. With small groups and a personal approach, this experience offers a genuine and memorable connection to Quinta da Levandeira do Roncão and the Douro Valley’s winemaking heritage.
