Tenuta di Castellaro awaits you for this unforgettable wine tasting experience at sunset.
You'll experience a journey of discovery of a courageous agronomic and viticultural project, told through a guided tour of the winery and a short walk through the vineyard.
Following the tour, you'll enjoy a tasting of four wines accompanied by samples of gastronomic products to complement the magical atmosphere of the sunset. A short walk through the vineyard will take you to a vantage point from where you can admire Alicudi, Filicudi, and Salina and wait for the sunset while toasting to the beauty that nature has always provided. We'll then continue the tasting on the terrace with two more wines, accompanied by homemade bread and extra virgin olive oil from Etna, cold meats and cheeses from the Nebrodi and Aeolian Islands, crostini with our organic caper pâté and Pachino tomato pâté, olives and traditional vegetables. Finally, you'll end the tasting on a sweet note with a tasting of our Malvasia delle Lipari DOC passita and sesamini.
An experience dedicated to those who want to discover wine, curious travelers, and romantics. The excitement gives goosebumps, and so does the temperature in Castellaro: cover yourself well! The tour can take place in groups with other visitors and lasts approximately two and a half hours. Available daily by reservation depending on the time of sunset.

Bad weather didn’t spoil the experience
I also want to mention the transfer service because Giovani was so nice, he made a mini bus tour for us and gave us souvenir lava stones on our way back :D

Usually, there are some instructions provided on how to drink wine correctly, e.g. smell, twist in a glass, taste, etc. It’s always interesting to listen those things and I’d love to hear them from real wine experts (Italians) :)
