Here is what's in store for you
Discover the ancient indigenous grape varieties of the Aeolian Islands with this wine experience at Tenuta di Castellaro.
With this experience, you'll discover pure Malvasia delle Lipari and Corinto Nero, two varieties that express themselves with fragrance and verticality. The experience, which lasts about two hours, begins with a full guided tour of the winery and vineyard. Next, you'll enjoy the tasting of three glasses of wine: Euxenos Terre Siciliane Bianco IGT, Corinto Terre Siciliane Rosso IGT, and Malvasia delle Lipari DOC.
The wines will be accompanied by warm homemade bread and extra virgin olive oil from Etna, a platter of cured meats and cheeses from the Nebrodi and Aeolian regions, croutons with our organic caper pâté, olives, and traditional vegetables. You can also choose the Light Lunch option which adds a warm dish, changing daily according to the Castellaro Bistrot's offer, such as a pasta dish or an eggplant parmigiana.
The visit can take place in groups with other guests.

Where do we meet?
A pick-up service is available at a cost of €12.00 per person (return trip). The pick-up takes place 30 minutes before the start time of the tasting at the hydrofoil port car park; please request this in the booking notes.

Bad weather didn’t spoil the experience
I also want to mention the transfer service because Giovani was so nice, he made a mini bus tour for us and gave us souvenir lava stones on our way back :D

Usually, there are some instructions provided on how to drink wine correctly, e.g. smell, twist in a glass, taste, etc. It’s always interesting to listen those things and I’d love to hear them from real wine experts (Italians) :)
