The journey continues in the cellars, where Tenute di Badia combines modern technology with age-old winemaking traditions to bring out the best in every bottle. Guests will explore the winemaking process, from fermentation to aging, witnessing firsthand how the estate’s Montecarlo DOC wines achieve their depth and character.
The experience culminates in a tasting of carefully selected wines that showcase the excellence of the Tenute di Badia terroir:
- Brut Sparkling Wine – lively and fresh, with floral aromas.
- Chardonnay IGT "Inestinguibile" – aged in barrels for a complex and refined aroma, with a savory and mineral taste.
- Montecarlo Rosso DOC – a bold blend of Sangiovese and Cannaiolo, with firm tannins and balanced warmth.
- Montecarlo Rosso DOC Riserva – over 20 months in barrels for an elegant tannic texture with light spice notes.
The tasting is complemented by an Extra Virgin Olive Oil tasting, a balanced mix of spiciness and softness that pairs perfectly with Tuscan cuisine.
