Comparative Wine Tasting of Skywalker Vineyards at Château Margüi in Châteauvert

You'll be welcomed at Château Margüi by a member of the estate's hospitality team, ready to guide you through the world of Skywalker Vineyards. The experience takes place in the estate's tasting room, where you'll learn the basics of wine analysis while getting an overview of the Skywalker Vineyards group and its distinct terroirs.

The heart of the session is a comparative tasting of six organic wines from three different countries. You'll start in Provence with two wines from Château Margüi: a Coteaux Varois rosé made from Syrah, Grenache, Cinsault, and Cabernet Sauvignon, and the Cuvée Bastide 1784, a white wine made from 100% Rolle. Next, you'll travel to California to sample two wines from Skywalker Vineyard in Marin County: the Skywalker Chardonnay and the Sommita Pinot Noir.

The journey concludes in Italy with two wines from the Viandante del Cielo estate: Pristinium, an Umbria IGT red blend of Ciliegiolo, Foglia Tonda, Pugnitello, and Canaiolo, and Lungolago, an Umbria IGT white that combines Chardonnay and Grechetto. The tasting is complemented by a sample of the estate's own olive oil. By tasting these wines side-by-side, you'll directly experience how different climates, soils, and grape varieties shape the final character of each bottle.
