Preparing food is a gentle gesture, and a way to tell the story of a land through its traditional flavors. With our Cooking Class, you will learn how to prepare Tuscan dishes under the guidance of our chef, using fresh and seasonal ingredients.
After the lesson, we’ll gather around the table to enjoy the dishes you’ve made, paired with three Ampeleia wines—for an experience that blends the pleasure of cooking with the art of wine. At the end of the day, you’ll receive a certificate signed by our chef and a collection of recipes, so you can bring a piece of Tuscany home with you.
The menu changes with the seasons, because every dish and every wine reflects the moment in which they are enjoyed.
The class takes place between our tasting room and the kitchen. No previous experience is needed: our chef guides you step by step, even if you have never cooked before. A sample menu, which changes with the season and the availability of ingredients: Tuscan panzanella, Maremma tortelli filled with ricotta and spinach, and meatballs in tomato sauce, usually paired with Unlitro, Bianco di Ampeleia and Ampeleia (the wines may vary with the menu). Children can take part in the class and are served water.
