As you leave the Renaissance city behind, you’ll be welcomed by the beauty of the Tuscan countryside: rolling green hills, rows of cypress trees, golden vineyards, and medieval villages that look as if they were painted on a canvas. It’s the perfect setting to relax and immerse yourself in the authentic atmosphere of Tuscany.
The first stop is Montalcino, homeland of the world-famous Brunello wine. After a pleasant stroll through the charming historic center, you’ll be welcomed at a prestigious local winery. Here, surrounded by vineyards and centuries-old cellars, passionate winemakers will reveal the secrets of Brunello production. You’ll enjoy a guided tasting of fine wines and extra virgin olive oil, followed by a delicious farm lunch of traditional Tuscan dishes paired with estate wines, a true feast for the senses.
In the afternoon, the tour continues to Siena, one of Tuscany’s most enchanting cities. Walking through its historic streets, you’ll discover the elegance of Piazza del Campo, renowned for the Palio horse race, and the breathtaking beauty of the Cathedral, a masterpiece of Gothic art. After some free time to explore at your own pace, the journey leads to Monteriggioni, a perfectly preserved medieval fortress-village. To start, you can either make your way to the meeting point or request to be picked up at your accommodation. Meeting point: Piazza dei Cavalleggeri, 50122, Firenze - Please wait for your driver in front of the National Library. Only service animals are allowed on the premises. Customers are kindly requested to bring an ID for each participant.
