The experience is designed for everyone: you do not need to know about wine or be an expert taster. Whether you are a wine lover, simply curious, a couple looking for an experience to share or a family wishing to discover the traditions of the area, you will be welcome.
The visit begins with an introduction to the Ca ed Curen family, its history and the Mango area, a charming place between Langhe and Monferrato where the hills tell a long winemaking tradition. Together with a member of the family you will then enter the cellar to see the different stages of winemaking, from the transformation of the grapes to the winemaking techniques, and discover how the work in the vineyard and the choices in the cellar shape every bottle. Each step is explained in simple, accessible language, with plenty of room for your questions.
After the visit you will sit in the Ca ed Curen tasting room to taste four wines made by the family, chosen from those available in the cellar, such as the dry Moscato L'Incompreso, the rosé L'Incontro, the Chardonnay Noi, the Dolcetto d'Alba Cent'anni e più and the Barbera d'Asti Ercole, served with breadsticks and a raw pork salami from a small local producer. The tasting is not a technical lesson: it is a chance to get to know the wines, discover new aromas and flavours and listen to the stories of the people who make them, with no formality and no special knowledge needed.
