Here is what's in store for you
This tour includes a complete visit to the Mario Schiopetto winery, nestled in a small valley surrounded by its own vineyards, opposite Spessa Castle, in the wonderful territory of Collio.
Upon arrival, you will be shown the vineyards and introduced to the cultivation techniques, to then move inside the winery. Inside you will find the historic "Mario Room," a special place for Mario Schiopetto's wines, and the various rooms with fermentation tanks and aging vats.
Once visited the winery, you will move to the Osteria "Al Pompiere" a few meters from the winery, a structure renovated in 2019 to guarantee hospitality to the winery's customers. Here you'll enjoy a guided tasting of five of the winery's most identifying wines, which include, for example, Mario's Friulano (first vintage 1965), Pinot Bianco (first vintage 1967), and Malvasia Istriana (first vintage 1974). Throughout the tour, you will be followed by the facility manager, who will answer all your questions or requests, and introduce you to the wine in the tradition of Mario Schiopetto.
In the case of participants with reduced mobility, please notify the winery in advance to arrange a tour that does not involve the use of stairs.

Introduzione sulla storia dell'azienda, descrizione e indicazione dei vari uvaggi piantati sulle colline circostanti, processo di produzione descritto in modo molto dettagliato attraverso le aree dove avviene la lavorazione e conservazione (peccato che le barrique nella cantina sei rossi non fossero ben visibili: il legno ha sempre il suo fascino...)
Vasta degustazione presso l'osteria lì vicino (mi permetto di consigliare di accompagnarla con qualche grissino).
