Wine Tasting in Daunia at Juvara Winery with Vineyard Tour
Here is what's in store for you
Welcome to Juvara, a small, family-run winery located in the heart of Daunia, between Lucera and Pietramontecorvino, in northern Puglia. Your experience begins with a warm welcome to our artisanal cellar, where you'll be guided through the history of our wines and our philosophy of spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts and almost zero sulfites. If you choose the full experience, the tour begins with a scenic walk through our vineyard, where you'll learn about our sustainable practices and the native grape varieties we grow.
You'll taste five artisanal wines, including Supparte (a tasting of Nero di Troia, aged in glass and stainless steel), MàLuce (dry Malvasia), FàLuce (Falanghina), ArmeRosa (rosé of Nero di Troia), and Masorosso (a bold blend of four local grapes). The tasting is paired with a generous platter of local delicacies, including cured meats from our family farm, extra virgin olive oil and olives from our own production, fresh bread and handmade taralli, and seasonal dairy products from nearby farms.
Nestled among the rolling hills of Daunia, Juvara offers an authentic and intimate experience, far removed from mass tourism. What makes this visit special is not only the quality of the wines or the beauty of the landscape, but the direct contact with the winemakers. You'll hear our story and taste the terroir in every glass.
