Welcome to Weingut Toni Jost, where you can immerse yourself in the unique terroir and winemaking tradition of the Mittelrhein. During this wine tasting experience, you will learn everything about the winemaking process, the steep vineyards, and the cultural heritage of the region.

You will taste five carefully selected wines, starting from easy-drinking Rieslings to top-quality single-vineyard wines, and ending with fruity sweet specialties. If you’re interested, the tasting can also include a Spätburgunder (Pinot Noir).

While enjoying your wines, you’ll gain insights into the unique challenges of steep-slope viticulture and the craftsmanship behind every bottle. This experience offers a deep dive into the rich history and quality standards of VDP wines, making it a must for wine lovers.

Tailored Bacharach Wine Experience

Peter’s knowledge of every aspect of wine growing in the region was truly impressive. Rarely have we learned so much about a particular wine style (ie Middle Rhine styles) at a cellar door anywhere in the world. The venue was steeped in Bacharach’s wine growing history and the wines presented were superb. Thank you Peter Jost for a wonderful experience,

The presentation was professionally conducted. I learned basic information about Riesling-type wines. The tasting path was well-organized and left me free to decide which wine to choose – sweet, fruity, or dry and mineral. I'm very pleased!

A Special Session

The wine tasting at Weingut Toni Jost was my first stop after arriving in Germany, and it was a pleasant surprise that I was the only individual that had signed up at that particular session. The owner - a very friendly lady whose name I have regrettably forgotten - catered the session to me and was very detailed in explaining the context and background of these wines. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there.
