A unique tasting experience in the heart of Monferrato with Asotom!
After a relaxing walk among the rows of a 70-year-old vineyard, olive groves, and fruit trees soaking in the fresh air of the countryside, you'll enter the winery, hidden in a small village that is part of an old building used in the past by King Vittorio Emanuele II.
Here you will taste different types of personal wines tapped directly from the barriques in order to better understand all the phases of wine production. Then you'll visit the fermentation room, the "grotto" or barrique room, and the label room, discovering interesting and peculiar stories about the winemaker Tommaso and his delicious creations (which have a well-defined and structured personality), to end up in the new panoramic rooms from which we can enjoy the view of the lush hills of Monferrato.
You'll be able to choose among the classic wine tasting or the food and wine tasting option with a selection of delicious local foods (a sampling of 3 different types of cheese and salami) to be enjoyed in the tasting rooms on the second floor of the winery, which boast a wonderful view of the surrounding hills. The cheese and salami come from local producers who share with us the same passion for what they produce. Of course, there will also be bread with a local variety that is made in town and if you'd like you could also visit the old village store for a coffee after your visit.
