Wine tour, tasting and lunch or dinner at Vigne di Raito
Here is what's in store for you
This tour of Le Vigne di Raito starts either at 11.30 a.m. or at 5.30 p.m. With this special experience, you will have the opportunity to sit on the private terrace of the winery, enjoying a day filled with fun, informative tips on wine, wine tastings, and an abundance of home-cooked Italian food.
Le Vigne di Raito is in no way a commercial vineyard: when you enter the winery, you are welcomed into the owners' home and family. After your arrival, you'll meet the english speaking guide and visit together the wine cellar. Then it will be time for a walk through the lemon grove and vineyard, accompanied by specialized personnel able to exhaustively respond to your questions about the techniques used both in the field and cellar.
At the end of the walking tour, you'll reach the panoramic terrace, where the owner of Le Vigne di Raito will welcome you, and where you'll enjoy your lunch or dinner, with a fixed menu including typical Italian ingredients, mainly from the winery's vegetable gardens. Moreover, you will be enjoying a vertical tasting of the wines produced in the past years (Ragis red and Vitamenia rosé).
To end, you'll enjoy dessert, Italian coffee, and traditional liqueurs!

Wonderful experience at Vigne di Raito
Going beyond what was planned, he explained the fascinating history and traditions of this corner of the Gulf of Salerno and showed us the plants and spices that grow here.
Mrs. Patrizia prepared an exquisite birthday cake for us and all the people who work at the Vigne were friendly and generous with explanations.
And the rest? Well, the view is breathtaking with the sea and sky meeting on the horizon, the food divine, prepared on-site with genuine products, and the wine... fit for the gods.
Highly recommended!
Knowledgable, funny and great lunch
Our guide (Alfonso) was extremely knowledgeable but delivered his wisdom with the right level of humour, while answering questions effectively. His knowledge even extended to the history of the area and the vineyard, and some of the cultural issues around owning and operating the business.
The lunch was also very good, with some great wine and the right level of guidance while tasting. It was nice not to be pushed to purchase some bottles also, while we could sit and enjoy our surroundings at the end of our meal.
If possible, offer a shuttle to / from the vineyard.
Offer a pricelist or suggestion of where the wine could be purchased should someone wish to.
