5 So Worth It!! (Noah)My girlfriend and I did the limoncello tour here and it was fantastic. Even just getting to walk around the area was great just because it was so beautiful there. I would recommend this to anyone looking for something fun to do in Sorrento. Our tour guide was fantastic and the limoncello and other treats served at the end were great. They even had gluten free options available, if you ask ahead.

5 From the Groves to the Convent (John)We met with our guide, at the meeting point, she was prompt, friendly, and eager to share her knowledge of limoncello! We toured the groves, watched how they processed the lemons into limoncello, and learned the history of the family farm. Next we went to the convent where we enjoyed a delicious lunch of local produce, meats, cheeses, and a pasta that I can’t wait to try to recreate at home. We finished with a scrumptious desert and a tasting of the limoncello. It was unforgettable and a wonderful way to spend some time while in Sorrento.

5 Great tour! (Michael)We had a great tour experience with Irena, who was very knowledgeable about both the cultivation of lemons and production of limoncello. Only tough part about this tour was getting there - we took a bus to Massa Lubrensa and then walked up to the location for the tour - a good 20-25 minute walk uphill. Worth it once we arrived but definitely something you should know. The products themselves and hospitality from everyone there was 10/10. Would recommend if you’re interested in learning more about limoncello!

Lovely farm, very knowledgeable guide. She was very friendly and did not rush us and offered us lemonchello tasting and a light snack. 5 Our favorite activity in Sorrento (Alison)Matteo was very knowledgeable about the craft of limoncello making at every step of the production process. The gardens that are maintained by his dad are beautiful, and the variety of what they grow is amazing. The tour was very interesting and Matteo was patient and kind to answer all of our many questions. The tastings of the limoncello and other liquors was the cherry on top at the end. Best limoncello in the region, we definitely had to take some home with us!

5 Wonderful tour and tasting! (Mackenzie)My family took the tour of the limoncello lemon groves at Il Convento in early October. We had a wonderful time! You get to see how the limoncello is made, walk through the beautiful groves and enjoy a tasting of limoncello products and other liqueurs and sweets they produce. The limoncello chocolates were absolutely delicious, as were the crème limoncello and classic limoncello. After the tour, we were allowed to stay in the upper grove and take photos and shop for the products we tasted to take home. I highly recommend this tour! We chose to take a taxi arranged by our hotel, and we had no problem getting there. There is a short walk with a bit of an incline to and from the grove, but my 60 year old mother was able to make it and the tour guide took breaks.

We enjoyed learning about lemon growing process and how limoncello is made. The luncheon was delicious, authentic and plentiful. We loved everything! Our guide, Irina, was a fantastic hostess. Highly recommend this tour! We traveled by taxi from Sorento’s main square, approximately $50E.

We met the family who were the nicest people and learned a lot about the limoncello making process from the tour. You can tell everyone was passionate and proud of their products. The olive oil and limoncello tasting were delicious and we went home with a lot of souvenirs that we purchased. We will be making Il Convento a regular part of our Almalfi coast visits.

5 Add this tour to your Sorrento itinerary (Michelle)We had a fantastic visit to Il Convento and were lucky enough to see every stage of the limoncello process - peeling, squeezing, distilling, bottling, and labeling. At the end of our tour, we could taste all the products they make, including marmalades - lemon and orange, other non-lemon liquors, and a regional specialty - baba, a small sponge cake soaked in limoncello. This is a family-run business, and we got to explore it with a member of the 3rd generation - Matteo. I highly recommend visiting.

5 Limoncello tour at Il Convento (Anne-Catherine)The only downside to this tour in the details on arrival. We self drove and found it difficult to find even using google maps. That is the only negative thing I have to say the service was perfect, the gardens are beautiful, our guide was so polite and informative through the tour. The owner even came and introduced himself and was the one taking care of purchases. The limoncello is amazing!! I would recommend booking this tour if you are in the area. Thank you.

5 Amazing Visit (Lauren )My fiancé and I had an amazing visit to Il Convento! We took a taxi to the factory, it is up a narrow, curvy road. Irene warmly greeted us when we arrived. We began the tour in the lemon grove and they showed us how they create the limoncello. We got to walk through all the trees and it was absolutely beautiful! We finished the tour at their bed and breakfast and got to try many of their products. We loved the creamy Limoncello! At the end we bought some products and Irene was kind enough to take some pictures of us. Irene had extensive knowledge on Il Convento's history and facilities and was able to answer any questions we had. She also called us a courtesy car to a local restaurant she recommended to visit after the tour! Overall, we learned a lot and enjoyed all the products we sampled! I highly recommend visiting to anyone who's considering!

5 Amazing Experience (Daniel)It was an amazing experience! Starting with all the info on how the limoncello is produced, seeing every step of the product (from lemon to final drink) and finishing with the best part - the actual tasting. Il Convento is a family owned business and our guide, Jacobo (apologies if I misspelled his name) was the best host. Loads of interesting details about how lemons grow, how to use them, of course, about limoncello and the location is absolutely stunning. I definitely recommend booking accommodation there...I know we will do it for our next visit on the Amalfi Coast. It's an oasis of silence and tranquility between the lemon trees.

5 Loved this tour (Jackie)My husband and I really enjoyed this limoncello tour and tasting. The son was our tour guide and his mom (who is lovely) gave us 5 different tastings including bread with olive oil and lemon jam and lemon cake . It was beyond what we expected! Would highly recommend! We also loved being able to support local producers by taking many products home with us!
