About Winery and Wines

Agricosimo was founded in 2000 by the Proietto family. The name pays homage to our ancestor, Cosimo Damiano Proietto, who lived in Villamagna during the XVII century. Our passion is coupling the wisdom of traditional vine-growing with modern winemaking technology and processes. We are driven by our love for Villamagna and its wine. We have strong roots here, but for over thirty years we have lived and worked around the world. Agricosimo is where our combined experiences and the love for our origins meet. In 2010 we began to radically increase our production capacity. This process culminated in the construction of our winery. The facility is state-of-the art, built in harmony with the surroundings. Here we employ the most advanced winemaking technologies in producing, aging, and bottling our wines. The variety and personality of our wines are due to the meticulous care of our vineyards as well as to rigorous production processes.
