Buzzarone Winery was established in 2019, born from Riccardo's passion and the realization of his family's dream. Located on the picturesque hills of Castelferrato in the province of Chieti, the land, gifted by his grandfather Agostino, is Riccardo's inspiration. Tenuta Villa della Rosa is a winery, founded in Villamagna, a small medieval village, located 10 km from the white beaches of the Adriatic Sea and 10 km from the snow-capped peaks of the Majella mountain massif. Our philosophy comes from tradition, which has handed down to us the cultivation of roses in the vineyards, as a practice used since ancient times. The rose, an extremely sensitive plant, positioned at the beginning of the rows, monitors the health of the vine and helps the winemaker monitor and protect the vineyard, detecting any pathologies and encouraging rapid intervention. The uniqueness of our production lies in the craftsmanship of each step. Fontefico is a boutique organic winery located in Abruzzo, overlooking the stunning Trabocchi Coast. Nicola Di Sipio founded Di Sipio Winery in Ripa Teatina, Chieti, fulfilling his lifelong dream of producing wine on the very land where his father once worked. Established in the early 2000s, the winery spans 70 hectares overlooking the Adriatic Sea. Nicola's passion for viticulture and dedication to continuous improvement are central to the winery's success. In 2017, he was honored with the prestigious Cavaliere del Lavoro award for his contribution to Italian industry. Di Sipio wines reflect elegance, family heritage, and commitment to excellence.

Our roots are so deep, that it is hard to say since when we produce wine. For centuries, surely. Long ago in the past, we produced the wine for home consumption, a big house, with many generations and families that lived together. Today we produce 3 million and a half of bottles a year, but the love for the vine never changed. A real passion that has been cultivated and matured during generations and in the end brought to one result. It will be Vincenzo Spinelli the first one to face the challenge, in other words, the commercial enterprise: “We have the land and the vine: if we can make the good wine for us, why can’t we make it also for the others?”. In the beginning of the seventies the consumption still has a common character. It is sold in the wholesale, but for Vincenzo the quality is always in his mind. He will have to wait about ten years, when the sons Carlo and Adriano will work full time in the company to give a crucial impulse to his project. The production capacity increases and, with great care, they start to control all the production stages, starting from the selection of the grapes, to the vinification and to the bottling. The quality is, now, the rallying cry. Therefore, the commercial strategies change and are refined, and so is the development of the sales network. In the past century, the last big leap happens with an expansion of the company in 1992, that represents the crowning achievement of a work. With the new and wide production rooms and with advanced machines and equipment, Vincenzo Spinelli finally completes the project, for which he spent a life for: a company able to combine high quality with high production volume.

Abruzzo wine culture is currently experiencing a boom, thanks to increasingly high quality and a major project dedicated to promoting the territory and its native grape varieties. The success of Cantina Tollo is part of this positive development and is one of its leading stars. Together with its producers, Cantina Tollo cultivates more than 3,000 hectares of vineyards in the area. Its success is measured by the numerous awards it has received as well as by the numbers. Cantina Tollo wines are found all over Italy, in the United States, Canada, Japan and in most of the countries of the European Union. Exports represent 35% of its sales, and the winery is also entering new emerging markets, like Russia, India and China. For more than fifty years, Cantina Tollo has placed the development of quality at the centre of its strategy, a winning approach that has led to major successes. The concrete demonstration of this commitment is seen in the Vigneto avanzato project. Quality also means technological research and innovation, which is one of Cantina Tollo’s top priorities.

The Winery was founded in 1961 in Guastameroli di Frisa by a small group of eager, local vine dressers. Today, after a long and challenging experience, Colle Moro is finally achieving the praise of an ever-growingand demanding public, thanks to the quality of its wine and the passion and tenacity that characterizes its work. Over more than 50 years of activity, we have constantly developed our skills and professionalism, paying great attention to the changes in our sector and in the consumers’ taste. We aim to continuously improve our products, pursuing a strong and competitive presence on the market. Our company currently consists of about 670 partners who grow vines in 15 different municipalities, with an overall area of about 1,600 hectares that produce an average of 25.000 tons of grapes. These are the wonderful vineyards that cover the territory of Frisa; after being processed with skilfulness and devotion, they produce the great wines of this land.

Located over Chieti hills, facing the Adriatic Sea, the Maligni Winery lies in Chieti and Torrevecchia Teatina lands. After more than five generations, passion for grapevine and wine came to materialize in 2009 with the creation of the “Maligni” Winery, flanked by the pre-existent “Savini Maria Assunta” Winery and the previous “Tomei” one. The name “Maligni” (=”Malignant”) is an old appellative, it has identified the Tomei family for over four generations and, according to several research, it was born after a quarrel between the old Pater Familias Pasquale Tomei and the local priest. Today the Maligni Winery lies on a ten hectares area of vineyards, farmed mainly with the varieties “Montepulciano D’Abruzzo”, “Pecorino” and “Cococciola”, standing out for their excellent quality, thanks to the particularly fitting production area. Our Winery is the outcome of a joyful symbiosis between tradition and innovation, so the Art of our work is to turn our Nature precious gifts into excellent wines, always caring about environment and quality. Fattoria Teatina, a triumph which has arisen from love. The development of a territory depends, of course, upon the soil and the climatic conditions but as well upon the people who stay and live there. Fattoria Teatina stems from the life plan of its owners, Antonella and Pierluigi De Lutiis, enraptured by the desire to fulfil a dream and, subsequently, to convey their great love for the land, for their land, to other people. This is where their wine is being produced, among the landscapes filled with light and the scents filling the air, where the look of the sea on one side and that of the mountains on the other one oversee the beautiful Abruzzo hills. The vineyards of Fattoria Teatina lie here, between Chieti and Torrevecchia Teatina, within this small world, on gentle slopes. Only 12 hectares for a production which regards wholesomeness and quality as being values and objectives at the same time. Only the best is being highlighted.

This is a family story, like many others in the Italian viticulture, which started in the postwar years. This story is about passion and sacrifice, since when the founder Peppino purchased his very first Vineyard and started the grape harvest. Planting the grapevines means settling down, growing roots, choosing to make the land your home, and leaving it to the following generations so they will love it as the founder did. For this reason Peppino, led by his intuition and calling for winemaking, carefully observed the land before buying it. Peppino managed to pass on his enthusiasm to the sons who, year after year, actively contributed to the company’s growth. From Torre Monache, the winery moved to another piece of land, Valle Martello, which lately became the name of the company . It is now up to the current generation, who took the leading role in the third act of this story. Since the year 2000, Peppino’s grandchildren are pursuing a project started 60 years ago with the same beliefs and values which led to the beginning of this endeavor: making great wines, emphasizing the territory and allowing people from every part of the world to enjoy it by enjoying a glass of its fine wine.
