About Winery and Wines
Agriturismo dei Grippi, founded in 2007 by brothers Alberto and Marco Faccioli, is a serene retreat surrounded by lush greenery, located just a few kilometers from the iconic Lake Garda and the historic city of Verona. The brothers, deeply rooted in agriculture and wine production, sought to create a haven where guests can connect with nature while enjoying the comforts of a welcoming accommodation. The estate offers 16 charming rooms and suites, as well as vineyard cottages, each thoughtfully designed to blend rustic charm with modern comfort.
A highlight of Agriturismo dei Grippi is its beautiful outdoor swimming pool, an oasis of relaxation, which is open not only to guests but also to day visitors. Whether you visit in the vibrant summer months to bask by the pool or in the tranquil autumn, when the landscape is painted with the colors of the grape harvest, the team is ready to welcome you with open arms.
The agriturismo is situated on the family farm in Sona, where the Faccioli brothers continue their agricultural traditions, producing not only fine wines but also cereals and a variety of artisanal products. The estate’s commitment to sustainability and biodiversity is at the core of all its activities, with a focus on ensuring that future generations inherit healthy and fertile land. Since 2020, all agricultural practices have followed organic and regenerative methods, further enhancing the estate’s dedication to preserving the environment.
Guests at Agriturismo dei Grippi can indulge in wine tastings either in the estate’s charming winery or in the tasting room located next to the pool, offering a perfect setting for relaxing while sampling the finest wines produced from the vineyards. In addition to wines, the estate proudly produces homemade jams, crafted from fresh, seasonal fruit and vegetables grown on-site. These jams, along with other artisanal products, are available for purchase, providing visitors with a taste of the agriturismo’s rich agricultural heritage to take home with them.
Agriturismo dei Grippi's Noumeno wines are crafted through organic-regenerative agriculture, a method that nurtures both the plants and the soil. The estate's 25 hectares of vineyards have been cultivated using this approach since 2020, incorporating green techniques such as crop rotation, composting, and biological pest control to enhance biodiversity and soil health. All chemical products and harmful interventions are strictly prohibited.
The Noumeno line includes 3 distinctive wines:
- Abrè: A Martinotti Method Sparkling Wine - Brut, showcasing the elegance of Pinot Noir combined with the delicate sapidity of Garganega, an indigenous grape from the region.
- Logos: A Manzoni Bianco IGT, a full-bodied blend that is balanced and ideal for aging, with a silky texture and surprising aromas.
- Crux: A Veronese Red IGT, structured with a strong identity, made from Corvina, Rondinella, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Oseleta, and Teroldego.
Noumeno, inspired by Kant's philosophy, symbolizes the pursuit of ultimate knowledge through continuous self-reflection and inquiry.
