It was."dad day" during stay in Puglia ;-)
Wonderful winery visit – very informative about the wines, with excellent food, delicious olives and focaccia. The wine bottle ‘wall of tears’ is simply beautiful.
Even my wife, that doesnt like dry wine, loved it.

Show people the vegetable part of business!

About Winery and Wines

Antica Enotria, located in Cerignola, Apulia, has been practicing organic farming since 1993, with a strong commitment to preserving traditional flavors and producing genuine products. Founded by Raffaele Di Tuccio and his wife Addolorata, the winery is rooted in the family’s love for the land. In the early 1990s, they moved from Basilicata to Apulia to cultivate 40 hectares of vineyards and vegetables using organic methods—without synthetic chemicals or genetically modified organisms. This decision marked the beginning of their agrobiological farm.

The winery is housed in the Contessa Staffa farm, a noble estate dating back to the 1700s, where the family produces both organic wines and preserves, including pickles, tomatoes, and sauces. The estate’s unique terroir, influenced by the proximity of the sea and the sun-kissed Apulian landscape, adds depth and character to their wines.

Antica Enotria’s story is one of innovation, hard work, and a vision for sustainable agriculture that has paid off, allowing the family to succeed in both winemaking and organic food production.

The organic wines of Antica Enotria are an expression of the values of the Di Tuccio family and the terroir. Each bottle reflects a strong bond with the Apulian territory. The Masseria Contessa Staffa, where the vinification takes place and from which the 12 hectares of vineyard start, is on a plain that descends towards the Adriatic surrounded by vineyards and olive groves kissed by the sun and the sea breeze. The unique terroir leaves a sapid and mineral imprint on the wines, maintaining a stable balance. To enhance the characteristics of the vines, the harvests are not late and the refinement in wood is never excessive. The combination of passion, agricultural techniques, microclimate, and mineral characteristics of the soil, particularly calcareous, offer mineral wines, fresh on the palate, and characterized by great longevity.
