ArtCava

ArtCava is a boutique winery in Penedès, founded by entrepreneurs Èric and Ignasi in 2004. Rooted in a family tradition dating back to 1730, they revived an old, abandoned cellar with a commitment to preserving its rustic charm. Located just 40 minutes from Barcelona, ArtCava combines tradition with modern innovation, producing 18,000 bottles of artisan Cava annually, without chemicals or expedition liqueurs. The winery focuses on proximity tourism, offering customized, slow-paced visits that reflect their passion for winemaking and the rich history of the region.

We make 18,000 bottles of quality artisan Cava with our own brand every year, with no chemicals, no expedition liqueurs. Just passion. Our intention was not to build another cellar, but to recognize and respect the way in which it worked. From the fusion of the past and the present comes ArtCava, a unique wine tourism space in the Penedès. When we say past, we really mean it. We know from archaeological excavations that the Iberians were in the same place where ArtCava is located like about 2.500 years ago. Since then, we have had enough time to perfect this art!
