About Winery and Wines
Corte Capitani a country house with Winery, nestled between vineyards and olive orchards between lake Garda and Monte Baldo stands for Wine, Olive Oil, Food and much more. We, Jan and Wendy do not only strive to produce great products but in keeping on evolving them and never to stand still in the search of new ways.
We want to offer wine lovers an adventure in flavors. To do this, we have created authentic Super Veronesi, with a strong emphasis on local grape varieties. We work with grapes that are indigenous or created for our area, and for some time now also with resistant grapes. As our company grows and changes, so does the list of wines we produce. Over the years we have continued to refine our Campenadal, made from Cabernet Franc and Oseletta grapes: today it is called vanL, after Jan, and is his favorite wine. Since 2014 we have also been pleased to offer Filò Bianco (Garganega and Manzoni) and Filò Rosso (Corvina), two wines that represent the essence of making filò: spending time conversing with friends and enjoying a glass of wine. Nothing else is needed. For a few years now, we have been producing the Manzoni White, which is fresh, and aromatic but also strong. The Manzoni Brut sparkling wine arrived in 2016. Since 2020, we have ventured into the production of brand-new wines from resistant grapes. To date, they are still micro vinifications, but in the future, they will take more and more space in our product lineup.
