Amazing Experience!!

The hosts of our wine tour went above and beyond to make this experience amazing! We did not come prepared with a taxi so they found us transportation to and from the winery. They also were able to book us a reservation for dinner later that night! Upon arriving, we got to learn all about how the wine making process occurs and the different aspects that go into each process. We ended with a sampling of four different wines, meats, cheeses, and olive oil covered bread. Each wine and food item was excellent. Ended up buying quite a few bottles after because we enjoyed it so much. The hosts were so understanding, kind, and knowledgeable. Overall an amazing experience.
Plan transportation ahead as taxis are near impossible to get that far out of the city.

Bellissima esperienza

Esperienza che mi è rimasta nel cuore.
Ci è stata raccontata la storia della famiglia che gestisce l'azienda, abbiamo potuto vedere da vicino tutto il processo di creazione del vino, dai vigneti all'imbottigliamento..con qualche chicca e consiglio di cui fare tesoro.
La degustazione consta di 4 assaggi di 2 vini bianchi e 2 rossi e un tagliere con salumi, formaggi e pane con olio fatto da loro.
Tutto veramente buono, è stato bello degustare e poter scoprire la differenza tra i vari sapori e odori..anche molto divertente.
Eleonora molti preparata ed appassionata..e molto simpatica! Consigliatissimo.

Immersione sensoriale

Due ore davvero piacevoli all'interno dell'azienda agricola San Luciano.
Siamo stati accolti benissimo fin da subito, con spiegazione dettagliata di tutta la filiera di produzione dei vini, dalla raccolta fino alla spedizione. Molto bella la stanza "magica", dove gli odori del vino e delle botti di legno si stagliano nell'aria.
Buonissima la degustazione di fine tour, con salumi e formaggi della casa ad accompagnare 4 vini differenti.
Tutto davvero dettagliato, spiegazioni precise. Abbiamo scoperto tante cose nuove sui vini e su come nascono, crescono e infine consumano.

Una bellissima esperienza quella vissuta presso l’azienda agricola San Luciano.
Stefano un grande oratore e Eleonora accogliente e preparata.
La degustazione è stata eccellente sia negli abbinamenti che nei prodotti proposti

About Winery and Wines

Once upon a time there was the fertile soil of the hills around Marino, a charming town of Latium, renowned for the production of wine, so much to be famous for making wine come out from its fountains, in concomitance with the village festival. This is the beginning of the history of Ziantoni's family, which, because of the urban expansion towards the countryside, in 1972 decided to move to Tuscany, buying the property of San Luciano, in the territory of Monte San Savino (Ar), high Val di Chiana. The land, particularly suitable for vines, immediately convinced Ovidio and the small country parish church, close to the house, won Gina over, making her feel at home right away. Confident in this new beginning, they adopted the church as the company's distinctive symbol.

Our vineyards are located on the hills of Monte San Savino, 330 meters above sea level, with a South South-East exposure. The soil is very fertile and has a medium mixture of clay and the area benefits from a humid climate in the cold season and a warm and dry climate in the hot season.
