La degustazione è iniziata con una visita alla cantina e alla vigna con una spiegazione molto dettagliata interessante sul processo di produzione del vino e sulla storia della cantina. È poi continuata con la degustazione di 3 vini e un passito, accompagnati da un tagliere di salumi, formaggi tipici e pane con il loro olio.
Complessivamente l’esperienza è stata ottima e ad un prezzo molto buono.
Consigliatissimo!
Se proprio dovessi trovare il pelo nell’uovo avrei preferito un tagliere un po’ più ricco.

Un azienda familiare che ci ha ospitato nella loro casa. Degustazione di vini bianchi, rossi e rosati con tagliere di carne e formaggi. Accoppiamento perfetto per un periodo di relax nella verde campagna dove è situata l azienda Bocale. Ci hanno illustrato anche la produzione del vino in maniera semplice ed onesta. About Winery and Wines

Bocale is a testimony to the artisanal production of high-quality wine while respecting the land, the environment, and the people who have worked and lived there for generations. The winery started the conversion to organic in 2020, and since 2023, the agronomic management has been certified.

No herbicides are used in the vineyard, and the soil is grassed between the rows to reduce mechanical work, erosion, and runoff. The vineyard is treated with the green manure technique, and soil fertility is replenished with organic and mineral fertilizers without the use of chemicals.

Only indigenous yeasts are used in the winery, and no microfiltration or stabilization is carried out. The wine obtained is the result of an artisanal process respecting environmental cycles and the natural aptitudes of an area.

The winery covers 10 hectares, 6 of which are planted with vines, and has an average annual production of 40,000 bottles.

MONTEFALCO SAGRANTINO
Made exclusively from grapes of the native Sagrantino, this wine combines perfectly aromatic expressiveness and structural elegance. Of great character and personality, it gives its best with a perfect aging period. Limited production, numbered bottles.

MONTEFALCO SAGRANTINO ENNIO
The Ennio Sagrantino possesses all the distinctive traits that have made this type of wine famous around the world: it’s a rich, powerful wine, but it also amazes you with its approachable style. It reveals an elegant, rounded profile that surprises us by re-proposing the historic grape variety of Montefalco in a brand-new version. Limited production, numbered bottles.

MONTEFALCO ROSSO
Montefalco Rosso is a typical Umbrian wine with great versatility, which can match the complexity of a great wine with freshness and drinkability. It’s made mostly from the grapes of Sangiovese with a small percentage of Sagrantino, Merlot, and Colorino. An ideal companion for a wide variety of dishes.

MONTEFALCO SAGRANTINO PASSITO
Made exclusively from grapes of the native Sagrantino, this wine combines perfectly the aromatic expressiveness and structural elegance. Of great character and personality. The quantity is very limited, and the bottles are numbered. TREBBIANO SPOLETINO A wine obtained exclusively by grapes from the autochthonous vine of Trebbiano Spoletino, a wine of great elegance, seasonings, and evolutionary capacity.
