AZIENDA AGRICOLA DROCCO RENZO

At Azienda Agricola Drocco Renzo, wine is a matter of land, exposure, dedication, passion, and tradition. We are a small family winery and a proud member of FIVI (Federazione Italiana Vignaioli Indipendenti).

Our vineyards, covering approximately 5 hectares, extend all around the farmhouse on the hills of the municipality of Rodello, one of the most suitable areas for the production of Dolcetto d’Alba. Located at about 400 meters above sea level, the vineyards benefit from excellent west and southwest exposure and enjoy the favorable microclimate of the Langhe, characterized by balanced humidity and natural protection from extreme summer weather.

The vines grow on sandstone soils with marl veins emerging at shallow depths, conditions that are particularly well suited for high-quality wine grape production.

Harvesting is carried out manually, with careful selection of the grape clusters and collection in small crates to preserve the quality of the fruit.

Some of our oldest vines are around 60 years old. While they require significant expertise and dedication to manage and produce limited yields, they reward us with grapes of exceptional quality.
