Azienda Agricola Rivetti Massimo
About the Winery
The Massimo Rivetti Family Farm, located in the heart of Neive, is a family-run estate with 25 hectares of organically certified vineyards. With a focus on sustainable agriculture, the farm cultivates both traditional and international grape varieties, producing around 100,000 bottles annually. Our production primarily features the prestigious Barbaresco and Barbera d'Alba, showcasing the best of the Langhe region. The estate is spread across three historic farmhouses: Froi, Garassino, and Palazzina. The winery itself is located at Froi, on the renowned Serraboella hill, which is recognized as one of the finest sites for Barbaresco production. At Massimo Rivetti Family Farm, we are deeply committed to our land, ensuring that every bottle reflects the rich history and quality of our vineyards.
About the Wines
At Massimo Rivetti Family Farm, we produce wines that reflect the authenticity and diversity of the Langhe region. Our organically certified vineyards allow us to craft wines that are true to their terroir, with Barbaresco and Barbera d'Alba as our flagship wines. Located on the prestigious Serraboella hill, our Barbaresco is known for its elegance and complexity, while our Barbera d'Alba offers rich, bold flavors. In addition to these traditional varietals, we also cultivate a selection of international grapes, adding to the diversity of our offerings. With a focus on sustainability and careful winemaking practices, each bottle is a tribute to the land and the dedication of the Rivetti family.

Substantial Tasting
The tasting part then took place inside the small town of Neive, where they have a dedicated space for this.
Once the glasses are raised, it will take a while to put them down given the generous amount of wine provided to us.
As for my preference, which was then followed by a Magnum, I have to say it was the Metodo Classico.
The platter was not substantial compared to how much we drank, although they refilled our breadsticks and bread several times.
Overall I can say it was a good experience, although I expected something more given the renowned location.
Life among the vines
We return home with so much more knowledge about wine production: from the cultivation of the vines to the bottling.
