The Roggero family, now represented by the fifth generation of winemakers, has a deep-rooted history in the Basso Monferrato region. Located in the charming town of Albugnano, situated on the highest hill of the area, our winery is surrounded by 7 hectares of vineyards that we cultivate with the utmost respect for the landscape and environment. For over a century, the Roggero family has been committed to producing wines that reflect the unique character of our terroir. Our winemaking philosophy combines tradition with sustainability, as we carefully manage our vineyards using integrated pest management practices to preserve the land for future generations.

Whether you are an avid wine enthusiast or simply looking to experience authentic Piedmontese wines, our family’s dedication to quality and tradition ensures an unforgettable visit.

At Roggero Vini, our grapes are the heart of everything we do, and each variety we cultivate tells a story of tradition and innovation. Nebbiolo, the king of Piedmont, is the centerpiece of our Albugnano DOC and Albugnano DOC Superiore, offering a refined expression of the region’s most celebrated grape. Freisa, a historical variety native to our land, is an integral part of our winemaking heritage. We are also reviving the Montanera variety, an ancient grape with remarkable potential, showcased in our unique wine called Fortenera.

In addition, we blend Grignolino and Barbera, two iconic Piedmontese grapes, to create our elegant rosé, Rosa d’Autunno (Autumn Rose). The latest addition to our vineyard family is Viognier, a variety with deep roots in Piedmont, closely related to Nebbiolo and Freisa. Our wines are crafted with care, using minimal chemical intervention to allow the natural beauty of our grapes to shine through in every bottle, reflecting the rich heritage and future potential of the Monferrato region.
