About Winery and Wines
Mas de la Real de Sella is a small-production, family-run project focused on the quality of its wines. The project was born on an old family estate located in Sella, where, in the past, the family of "maseros" (estate farmers), who lived in the house and cultivated the land, also produced their own wine for self-consumption, using grapes from a few vines located next to the house. In 2006, the Orts brothers decided to revive agricultural activity on the estate and venture into producing artisanal red wines in a small garage winery in Villajoyosa.
Mas de la Real de Sella produces organic wines using artisanal methods with estate-grown grapes, sourced from their vineyard, located 900 m above sea level in the Sierra de Aitana and 14 km from the Mediterranean Sea. This exclusive location gives their wines unique nuances and Mediterranean aromas, as well as a surprising freshness. The wines are produced at sea level, in their garage winery is located in Villajoyosa.
