Brugnoni Agricola

Winery in Hills of Perugia

About the Winery

For over 50 years, the Brugnoni family has cultivated the rolling hills of the Tiber Valley near Perugia, transforming their 15-hectare vineyard into a hub of traditional winemaking. Located in a charming 19th-century farmhouse, the estate is a reflection of the family's passion for their land and craft. Here, visitors can explore the farm shop and tasting rooms, experiencing the authentic flavors of Umbria. The Brugnoni family oversees every step of the winemaking process, ensuring each bottle embodies the unique character of the region.

About the Wines

At the Brugnoni family's estate, seven wines with Typical Geographical Indication are crafted from a variety of grapes, including Trebbiano Toscano, Grechetto, Chardonnay, Malvasia, Sangiovese, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon. Each wine is produced with a commitment to tradition and quality, from hand-harvesting the grapes to using indigenous yeasts. The winery's meticulous methods, such as low-pressure pressing, ensure that every bottle captures the essence of the Tiber Valley, offering a genuine taste of Umbria's rich viticultural heritage.

Nice tasting!
We had a wonderful time at Brugnoni Agricola. We started with an informative introduction to their wine production, followed by a tour of the winery, and ended with a tasting of selected wines — all of which were excellent. The food served was also delicious and of high quality. The people were very welcoming and made the experience even more special. And we loved the dog too!
It would have been nice to have a bit more information about the wine production and to take a longer tour through the winery.

A beautiful discovery
The winery is very small and full of character. The tasting we chose included 4 wines, all accompanied by local products. We were very satisfied and recommend visiting the winery to get to know this small establishment, especially because they are wines that can only be found here!

A beautiful experience at the Brugnoni winery
We tasted four types of wine, two white and two red, paired with platters with a tasting of bruschetta, cheeses, cured meats, and legumes. The service, the welcome, and the quality of the wines and food were good.
The pairing of the chosen wine for each individual food platter was excellent. The price of the wine for sale was good.

A unique experience among Umbrian wines and flavors
We visited the Brugnoni Winery on a rainy day, but despite the weather, the experience was truly pleasant. The place is beautiful and well-kept, surrounded by nature. The staff was extremely kind and welcoming: they explained the entire wine production process to us with passion, in a clear and interesting way.

We had the chance to taste several wines, all of them excellent, accompanied by typical products of their own production, in truly perfect pairings. I absolutely recommend a visit, even better if the weather is nice, to also enjoy the outdoor spaces!

Excellent
A winery run by a family that conveys all the passion that unites them. Excellent wines accompanied by quality local products. Few frills and a lot of attention to the care of the land and the product. The red OINOS, a pleasant surprise, a clean taste, that is easy to drink. Congratulations!
