About the Winery
Lodi Corazza is a family-owned farming estate with roots dating back to 1877. Siblings Silvia and Cesare Corazza carry forward their family's winemaking tradition at Zola Predosa, located within the prestigious DOC Colli Bolognesi area. Their estate reflects a deep respect for their land and heritage, with vineyards planted on the region’s characteristic poor, reddish soils. The winery, designed by their father Corrado, blends modernity with tradition, using a mix of stainless steel, concrete, and wooden containers to produce wines that capture the essence of the territory.
About the Wines
At Lodi Corazza, the focus is on crafting wines that honor the heritage of Colli Bolognesi. Their range includes Pignoletto, both still and sparkling, as well as Barbera, Barbera Riserva, and Merlot. The winery prides itself on using the Italian Martinotti method for their semi-sparkling wines, allowing them to age on lees for a minimum of five months. With a commitment to preserving the unique characteristics of their native and international grape varieties, each wine embodies the passion and care of generations of winemaking.

Excellent Experience
It was our best experience of this trip. Silvia received us super well, she gave us the tour of the winery and the tasting, dedicating time and warmth to make it an excellent experience. I super recommend it. The wines and the food were very good, and the place is super accessible by public transport from the center of Bologna. Thank you, Silvia!

An experience we absolutely recommend!
Silvia was fantastic in welcoming us and telling us, in a way that was very understandable even for those not in the industry, so many interesting things about the company's history, the values it is founded on, the methods they use, and about the oenological field on a local and global level, guiding and involving us from the cellar tour to the tasting. Excellent wines, food too, generous quantities: we basically had a full lunch. At the end, it's possible to buy the wines you've tried at more than fair prices, especially for the quality offered. But overall it was just a pleasant and enriching experience on a cultural and human level. In short, a small business that deserves to be supported!
The winery is very well connected on the line between Bologna and Vignola by bus and train, which allows you to avoid the car if you wish – a good thing both for the environment and for the chance to enjoy the tasting with peace of mind for the return trip home.

Amazing Experience
We had a wonderful experience with Silvia at the vineyard. She was so passionate and knowledgeable and to find out the business has been handed down generations was amazing.
The wines were fantastic and the pairings excellent.
We would go back but perhaps in the summer where it’s a bit warmer and get to see the grapes on the vines!

ENJOYED THE PRIVATE TOUR - GREAT EXPERIENCE.
Silvia and Cesare (Owners) gave us multiple different types of wine to taste (2 whites and 2 reds and 1 dessert wine). The owners provided a very nice sample of local foods to taste with the wine, it was an awesome experience. The owners spent significant amount of time with us explaining their challenges and opportunities with the future of the wine business. To finish, Cesare gave us a ride to place where we could catch the bus back to Bologna as the Cantina Lodi Corazza is in the country side.

SILVIA EXPLAINED EVERYTHING FROM THE TERROIR OF COLLI BOLLOGNESI, THE GRAPE VARIETIALS PIGNOLETTO, LAMBRUSCO, BARBERA AMONGST OTHERS. THE WINE TASTING SESSION AT THE END OF OUR TOUR TOO WAS EXCLUSIVE AS WE WERE THE ONLY VISITORS THAT SATURDAY MORNING.

Wine and food tasting
We had a wonderful time for my husband's birthday. Neither of us had ever been to a vineyard or wine tasting before and it was better than we could have expected! The owner was lovely and obviously very knowledgable. After a look around the vineyard and winery we sat in a beautiful room and the lady poured us a variety of different wines paired with regional food. It was genuinely incredible! The lady gave us so much interesting information and we really felt like we learned a lot. Thank for you an amazing afternoon, it's one we'll never forget!

The tour was great - 9 out of 10. The guide was informative she accommodated our time change and everything was delicious. It was quite easy to get to, and probably would be no harm to include that it's 5 mins from the train station. Probably the highlight of my time in Bologna

Serene Italian winery tour!!
This place was so nice!! Very quiet small town outside of Bologna. The lady was so nice, gave us a tour of everything before. After, we sat down where they provided bread and meat. Then the wine came out!! Definitely recommend

We had an excellent wine tour and tasting. Silvia was very good at explaining about the various types of grapes, how the different wines were made, The wine tasting was also excellent. The wines were very different but all of them very good. Silvia was very good at explaining the difference. We also got some Italian specialities to eat together with the wine. The food was also very good.
