About Winery and Wines
At Cas’Amaro, wine is more than just a product—it’s a holistic experience that brings together sustainability, architecture, design, art, and wine tourism. With a deep respect for nature, local ecosystems, and native grape varieties, our mission is to create exceptional wines while fostering a sustainable future across all dimensions—environmental, economic, social, and human.
Our journey spans five of Portugal’s most prestigious wine regions—Vinhos Verdes, Douro, Dão, Alentejo, and Lisbon, where our project first began. In each region, we develop wine production and wine tourism experiences, including hospitality and fine dining, always striving for excellence and authenticity.
We embrace organic farming and minimal intervention winemaking, ensuring that our wines reflect the unique terroir of each estate. Every bottle of Cas’Amaro tells the story of the land, the native Portuguese grape varieties, and the passion that drives us to preserve and elevate Portugal’s winemaking heritage.
Cas’Amaro wines are a tribute to Portugal’s native grape varieties, cultivated across five unique wine regions:
Vinhos Verdes – Fresh and vibrant white wines with a crisp acidity.
Douro – Bold, structured reds and expressive whites from Portugal’s most iconic region.
Dão – Elegant, mineral-driven wines that showcase the region’s unique terroir.
Lisbon – Certified organic wines with a balance of freshness and complexity.
Alentejo – Wines currently in organic conversion, known for their depth and smooth textures.
With a focus on low chemical intervention, our wines are crafted to be as natural and health-conscious as possible—dry, low in residual sugar, and with moderate alcohol levels. We strive to offer wines that are pure, expressive, and full of character, capturing the best aromas and flavors of Portugal.
Beyond winemaking, Cas’Amaro offers exceptional wine tourism experiences, with stunning estates, boutique hotels, and wine-focused restaurants, making every visit a journey into the soul of Portuguese wine culture.
