About Winery and Wines

Today at the head of the family business, Olivier Fagot, proud of his roots, continues to develop Champagne Michel Fagot, inspired by integrated viticulture and biodynamic techniques.

Located in the village of Rilly-la-Montagne, in the heart of the prestigious Montagne de Reims vineyards, we own 15 hectares of Premier Cru vines. Our unique terroir and exceptional know-how enable us to produce refined, elegant Champagnes.

We'd be delighted to welcome you to our estate, where you can discover our profession as independent winegrowers.
You'll enjoy a complete tour of our cellars, from our vats to our traditional press, followed by a commented tasting of our cuvées in a warm and authentic setting.

Our House owns a beautiful vineyard of 15 hectares (37 acres) spread over 4 exceptional crus: Rilly-la-Montagne, Villers-Allerand, Trigny and Hermonville, allowing us to work with the three main Champagne grape varieties: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, as well as an old forgotten Champagne variety: Pinot Blanc.

This diversity allows the creation of signature blends, aged in the cellar on lees for at least 5 years. While some parcels are carefully selected to elaborate exceptional vintages, aged in the cellar on lees, at least 10 years.

Our philosophy is based on know-how and authenticity, which is why we have chosen to limit our production, to promote our traditional craft.
