Cinque Quinti

Winery in Monferrato, Monferrato Casalese

About the Winery

Cinque Quinti is a dynamic and evolving winery run by five siblings—Fabrizio, Martina, Michele, Francesca, and Mario—united by a shared dream to showcase the beauty of "Monferrato degli Infernot," a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Their wines tell the story of this unique region, and they invite visitors to experience it through year-round tastings, visits, and events at their tasting room.

About the Wines

Cinque Quinti produces a range of wines that capture the essence of Monferrato. Key offerings include Roverò (Barbera del Monferrato Superiore DOCG), Carisa (Barbera del Monferrato DOC), Solista (Grignolino del Monferrato Casalese DOC), and sparkling wines like Mariulin (Piemonte DOC Chardonnay, Spumante Brut Metodo Martinotti) and Austin (Spumante Brut Metodo Classico Rosato). Each wine is crafted with care, reflecting the family's passion for winemaking and the unique terroir of Monferrato.

Beautiful location and splendid staff
Location with a beautiful view, fantastic staff, very good wine, the only flaw: the wines were served all together in the sun and therefore quite warm.

Authentic flavors of Monferrato
My wife and I purchased the tasting package with wines and a platter of typical products, along with a visit to the infernots. The winery is the youngest I have ever been to and aims to revive the generational business of the entrepreneurs' grandparents (5 brothers, to be exact).
The wines in the tasting are very good and well-described and represent the typical flavor of the Monferrato hills. The platter is a bit light, but it pairs very well with the offered wines.
Off-menu, there is the possibility to taste an original creation of theirs, the Rosso Monferrato, a union of grapes with very sweet flavors and a significant aroma, highly recommended for enthusiasts of very full-bodied wines with a well-defined character.

Day of the 31st
A beautiful day spent with two kids. Kindness and a warm welcome! Excellent wines.
The tasting plate could be improved, a bit too small for 4 wines.

Unique
Nice winery practically in the center of the town, which by the way is very beautiful. Our guide was very kind and the infernot was very interesting.
We did the tasting inside the shop, not in a dedicated area and it was a bit noisy. The wine tasting was good but the snacks were really lacking. I would suggest something more appealing.

Great experience with friends
We participated in a winery tour with a tasting and it was a truly satisfying experience.
The tour through the old production areas and the infernot was interesting and well-explained, while the tasting – accompanied by an excellent charcuterie board – allowed us to taste excellent wines.
The young women who welcomed us were friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable, helping to make the experience pleasant and engaging.
Highly recommended!

Interesting and pleasant
The visit to the winery was very interesting and pleasant, guided with enthusiasm and great knowledge of the winery's history by a member of the owning family's staff!
Compliments on everything... I recommend it to anyone who would like to tour a winery different from the ones you usually visit!
Thank you!
