Nestled in the picturesque region of Rousset Les Vignes, Domaine de la Bouvaude has a rich history dating back millions of years when the Mediterranean Sea flooded the area, leaving behind sediment and fossil beaches that still adorn the land today. This ancient geological heritage, combined with the sandy-clay soils at an altitude of 450 meters, creates the perfect environment for crafting elegant and complex wines. Benefiting from the natural protection of the Mistral wind, our vineyards are naturally shielded from pests, allowing us to pursue sustainable viticulture.

Since 1930, Domaine de la Bouvaude has been family-owned, and today, Alain Blachon, with his expertise in geology and passion for wine, leads the estate into a new era. With a commitment to organic farming and eco-friendly practices, we are paving the way for future generations while respecting the land’s unique terroir.
