About Winery and Wines
Domaine de l'Herbe Sainte, rooted in the Languedoc region, boasts a rich family history intertwined with the art of winemaking. The estate covers 75 hectares and grows 15 grape varieties, crafting wines that reflect the unique terroir of the area. Acquired in 2001 by a family with deep Burgundian heritage, the estate is located near the historic Cathar city of Minerve, bordered by the Cesse River and just 600 meters from the Canal du Midi, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The estate distributes its wines across France, Europe, and internationally, supplying individuals, restaurants, and wholesalers.
The philosophy of the Domaine de l'Herbe Sainte is to make quality wines while respecting our commitments to the environment and our customers.
We produce mainly wines in AOP Minervois red and IGP Pays d'Oc white, rosé and red.
Since December 2020, our vineyard is certified "High Environmental Value Level 3".
In 2001, we bought the Domaine de l'Herbe Sainte and joined the "Vignerons indépendants de France".
As a member, we respect the following collective charter ; The independant winemaker :
