About Winery and Wines
Dominio Lubiano is a family-owned winery located in the heart of Ribera del Duero, managed by Mónica Peñas, an agronomist and oenologist, and Emilio Lubiano, who comes from a family of farmers and wine distributors. With over 15 years of dedication, Mónica and Emilio have transformed their passion for winemaking into a tangible reality, creating a winery that reflects their deep connection to the land and their commitment to producing exceptional red wines. Their son, Pablo, dreams of continuing this family legacy, making Dominio Lubiano a true family affair. Visitors to the winery can experience this personal journey through guided tours, vineyard walks, and tastings that showcase the love and dedication poured into every bottle.
Located on the prestigious "Golden Mile" of Ribera del Duero, Dominio Lubiano's 43 hectares of organically cultivated vineyards are exclusively dedicated to Tempranillo, the region's hallmark grape. These vineyards, spread across Pesquera Duero at altitudes between 740 and 900 meters, with 90% on slopes, benefit from diverse orientations and soils, primarily limestone and white clay, contributing to the wines' complexity.
The estate produces 4 distinctive red wines, all aged in French oak barrels: Lubiano (6 months), Dominio Lubiano (14 months), Lubiano Limited Edition, and the standout Caminos Blancos. Each wine is a true reflection of the unique terroir and meticulous care that define Dominio Lubiano’s winemaking, ensuring every bottle captures the essence of Ribera del Duero.
