DOSIO VIGNETI
About the Winery
Dosio Vigneti is a winery steeped in history, nestled in the heart of the Langhe region, where winemaking traditions run deep. Established in 1974, the winery is built around an old farmhouse dating back to the 18th century, which was transformed into a winemaking estate thanks to the region’s natural affinity for vineyards. Situated at the highest point of the Barolo appellation, at 500 meters above sea level on the Serradenari hill in La Morra, a UNESCO World Heritage area, Dosio Vigneti offers breathtaking views over the plains of Cuneo and Turin, extending to the summit of Monviso.
In 2010, the winery entered a new era under the stewardship of the Lanci family, who revitalized the estate while maintaining its deep connection to tradition and the land. The estate expanded its vineyards, now encompassing over 17 hectares across the Langhe, including prestigious Barolo crus such as Ravera, Bussia, Serradenari, and Fossati, as well as the Montersino cru in Barbaresco. In 2021, Dosio took another significant step by forming a group that spans 85 hectares of vineyards from the Langhe to Monferrato, underscoring its commitment to producing Piedmontese oenological excellence.
Dosio’s production philosophy centers on quality and tradition, with a keen focus on sustainability. The estate follows integrated pest management practices across its vineyards, and low-impact winemaking techniques are employed in the cellar to enhance the natural qualities of the grapes. This commitment is further recognized by the SQNPI certification, awarded for sustainable production methods. Starting in 2023, Dosio Vigneti is also expanding its hospitality offerings with the opening of the Antica Dimora Dosio resort, providing guests with an immersive and relaxing experience amidst the beauty of the Langhe.

Enchanting Place
A beautiful location that also has a small relais inside. A short tour of the winery, perhaps just a little too short, followed by a rich, well-guided and well-hosted tasting. We had chosen a high-end tasting. Excellent wines and an excellent selection. They were generous in the tasting offer, even with wines outside of the chosen selection. Perhaps we would have liked a slightly more substantial accompaniment than just breadsticks, given the quantity of wines tasted and the type of tasting.
But I must say that it was nevertheless an excellent experience in a magical place where we would happily return.

Ottima esperienza
Il proprietario ci ha spiegato molte cose con entusiasmo e con un inglese a dir poco perfetto.
Ottima anche la degustazione.
Consigliatissimo
Barolo-ing
The visit was shorter than scheduled, we would have liked to enjoy 15 more minutes of the wines, explanations and the room, everything else was good.
IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCE
It was professional, playful and very immersive as we visited the vineyards and the cellar, during which the origin of the wine and the various differences between the grapes were explained to us. Finally we chose to continue with the tasting, in which we sampled 4 wines. We were so satisfied that we bought two bottles (Barolo and Barbaresco). Excellent quality/price ratio, €25 per person.
