Dragoshinov Winery

Dragoshinov is a boutique family winery located in the Danubian Plain region of Northern Bulgaria, producing just 8,000 bottles annually. The winery is situated in the small village of Natsovtsi, which has deep roots going back 180 years. Natsovtsi lies just 15 km south of Veliko Tarnovo, the medieval capital of Bulgaria, and a must-see destination for visitors to the country. A visit to Dragoshinov Winery offers an intriguing glimpse into rural Bulgaria, complementing a stay in this historic city.

The winery's first harvest took place in 2019, but the business itself has a longer history rooted in the winemaking philosophy of Daniel Dragoshinov, a talented and experienced oenologist. The production is intentionally small, with each series ranging from 300 to 1,400 bottles, ensuring high-quality, handcrafted wines.

Guests are welcomed to the winery to share in the rich experience and knowledge that has been passed down through generations.

Dragoshinov Winery collaborates closely with vineyard owners to carefully select the finest grapes for its wine production. The grapes are hand-picked and delicately processed, with meticulous attention given to every step of the winemaking process, resulting in wines of which the winery is immensely proud.

The white wines produced include Aligoté, the local Red Misket, and the classic Chardonnay, which is aged in both oak and acacia. The red wines feature Syrah, Merlot, and Marselan, each offering a unique expression of the region’s terroir. Additionally, a classic Pinot Noir is crafted as the winery's rosé, showcasing the versatility and quality of their offerings.
