About Winery and Wines

The Duca di Dolle estate is located in an ancient monastery dating back to the 16th century in Rolle, a hamlet in the heart of the Prosecco Superiore D.O.C.G. hills of Conegliano -Valdobbiadene, which from 2019 will be recognised as a World Heritage Site. The aim of the company, which has been in the hands of the Baccini family since 2011, is to preserve the land and protect the landscape in the name of eco-sustainability between man and the environment, enhancing the fruits of the land through the creation of wines of the highest quality, and to focus on innovation, a value that has always distinguished the family, a Trevisan entrepreneurial reality known for the high technology and quality of its solutions and initiatives.

In its entirety, the estate represents a true ecosystem, given its extension, which totals almost 100 hectares, and the natural diversity of the environments present. Around the estate there are 25 hectares of vines surrounded by 75 hectares of meadows, fruit trees and woodland, which provide a natural protective frame for the vineyards. The grapes cultivated are those typical of the area: Glera, Verdiso and Perera. Glera is the flagship of the production, used to produce the most popular Italian sparkling wine: Prosecco di Conegliano Valdobbiadene. The vines have different ages and reach up to 70 years in the cru Riva, offering few and precious concentrated fruits.
