Fabrizio Pratesi

Winery in Carmignano

About the Winery

The Pratesi family has been producing wine in Carmignano for five generations. Their story began in 1875, when Pietro Pratesi purchased the Lolocco estate, located in the heart of the Carmignano area, where wine and olive oil were already being produced. Today, the winery continues this long tradition, crafting wines from vineyards planted at high density to ensure quality and concentration.

Carmignano, situated in the heart of Tuscany, has a historic reputation for excellence. As early as 1716, Cosimo III de’ Medici officially recognized its importance by including it among the first delimited wine production areas in the world. This legacy continues to define the identity and prestige of the territory.
