About Winery and Wines

We are a small family farm located in Vinci, the birthplace of Leonardo da Vinci, dated back 1.000 year and always owned by the Comparini Bardzky family which passed down from father to son, this beautiful heritage. With 8.000 olive trees and 5 hectars of wineyard, our production is focused on high quality wines and extra virgin olive oil. The farm is located at an altitude of around 600 meters and this position, combined with a windy weather, the influence of the sea (it's 40 km far from here) and a rocky and mineral soil, allows us to produce bodied wines with a very particular structure but at the same time, easy to drink, Due to our long history, we're very attached to the tradition which is still present in the way of doing our products, but always looking at the innovation which is the key to realize good wines. Our artisanal work is reflected also in every step of the production from the harvest to the bottling, by making everything by hand and putting all our efforts in giving you the best quality possible. We hope to transmit you all our passion for our work, for the nature and the reason why we're still here after 1000 year of history.Tasting notes
