About Winery and Wines

Fattoria La Torre takes its name from the ancient medieval tower dating back to the 10th century, still present today within the farm, a witness to its history of thousands of years.

The 37 hectares of vineyards produce some of the highest oenological expressions of the territory: the Vernaccia di San Gimignano, Chianti, the Supertuscans and a Spumante Rosé from Sangiovese grapes.

Owned by the Angiolini family since 1960, the estate is now led by Enrico Angiolini, a former mechanical engineer and one of the greatest collectors of Macchiaioli art.

Thanks to the owner's passion for art the labels of our wines are all inspired by fragments of Macchiaioli paintings from his private collection.

Inside the estate we also find the WineArt Boutique, which was born precisely from the desire to create a perfect union between art and wine, here you can enjoy a 360° sensory experience through guided wine tastings that will allow you to fully immerse yourself in the flavors and scents of our land. 

Fattoria La Torre produces premium quality wines, and especially Vernaccia di San Gimignano DOCG, the only white DOCG produced in Tuscany, and Chianti Colli Senesi DOCG.

The estate also produces IGT wines and Supertuscans from local varieties, such as Sangiovese and Vermentino, and also international ones, like Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc.

The farm has a production of extra virgin olive oil too.
