About the Winery

Cantina Gentili offers more than just wine; we offer a journey through the rich cultural identity of our region. Located in a 15th-century rural courtyard, our winery is a living testament to the deep connection between the land and its people. Here, wine tourism becomes an immersive experience where curiosity meets authenticity. Visitors are invited to explore not just the flavors of our wines but also the stories and traditions that have shaped them.

At Cantina Gentili, we honor the natural rhythms of our environment, rejecting shortcuts in favor of a more thoughtful approach to viticulture. We align ourselves with the unique micro-zones of our vineyards, allowing biodiversity to flourish and ancient vines to reveal new paths. This philosophy enables us to preserve the true identity of our territory while exploring innovative oenological opportunities. Our doors are open to all who wish to taste the landscape and discover the unique expressions of our land through our wines.

About the Wines

Cantina Gentili’s wines are a celebration of local traditions and the unique terroir of the Garda area. Our most representative wines are crafted from indigenous varieties such as Chiaretto, Bardolino, and Trebianèl, each offering a distinct taste of our region's heritage. We also produce a selection of exceptional wines that showcase the elegance and diversity of Garda’s winemaking potential.

These include the Trebianèl Refermented in the bottle, Chiaretto Metodo Classico, and the Bardolino San Verolo. For those seeking something truly unique, we offer Chiaretto Barbagliante, aged in terracotta with natural fermentation, and Outsider, a Souvignier Gris aged in terracotta and made from untreated grapes with spontaneous fermentation. Each wine is a reflection of our commitment to respecting nature’s processes while embracing the innovative spirit that defines Cantina Gentili.

Very nice, pleasant winery
We initially had a wrong address and therefore unfortunately arrived 40 min. late. However, that was not a problem; we still had our individual tour and tasting. The lady was very nice and we had a lot of fun.
The tour was in English, just sometimes a bit fast.

Very nice and helpful hosts
The experience was so nice. It took place mainly outdoors in a carefully arranged setting. The hosts showed us the cellar and explained the winemaking techniques. The wines are accompanied by food. Truly highly recommended both for the kindness, the location, and the quality of the wine.

Positive experience
Beautiful location, excellent wines accompanied by a platter with typical local zero-kilometer products.
Detailed explanation and pampered customers.
Recommended for those looking for something different from the usual Amarone della Valpolicella.

Excellent experience
Clear and detailed explanations, excellent wines and charcuterie board. Definitely to be recommended on a sunny day to be able to enjoy, as we did, the beautiful exteriors of the Gentili Winery.
