Domaine PY
About the Winery
Cradled by marine and western winds and anchored in clay-limestone soils, Domaine PY enjoys a privileged exposure that enhances the authenticity at the heart of its philosophy.
This authenticity is reflected in the choice of grape varieties for its Corbières appellation wines, crafted from old Carignan, Grenache, Syrah, and Cinsault, as well as in its local wines, which include Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, and more. It extends to cultivation practices, winemaking methods, and aging, where tradition and modernity coexist in harmony.
The terroir, lying at the foot of Mount Alaric, is the domaine’s greatest heritage and strength, one it respects and is committed to preserving. Guided by this responsibility, the estate has been cultivating its vines organically since 2008, creating the best possible conditions for producing wines of exceptional quality.
With varied soils ranging from clay-limestone to loamy slopes, Domaine PY combines traditional varieties with others such as Cabernet Franc and Alicante, offering versatile blends under the Vins de Pays Côteaux de Miramont and Vins de Pays d’Oc designations, while continuing to refine its expertise in AOC Corbières vintages.
