LAVRADORES DE FEITORIA United by the wine and Douro's sustainability 3 Sub-Regions - 20 "Quintas" - 600 Hectares of Vineyards - A Single Wine Project Lavradores de Feitoria (LF) is a wine company in the Douro region, with 20 estates strategically spread over the three sub-regions - Baixo Corgo, Cima Corgo and Douro Superior - which was born based on an innovative business model, with the mission of creating wines based on social, economic and environmental sustainability. In the glass, these wines have their own identity and a matrix where elegance, freshness and aging potential stand out. Conceived at the turn of the century, in 1999, and officially founded in September 2000, Lavradores de Feitoria was the result of the union of 15 "farmers", owners of 18 “Quintas” at the time, under a unique leadership in terms of management and winemaking. For the first time in Douro, a group of committed Douro citizens combined knowledge and experience, innovation and tradition in a joint effort that marked a new era for Douro. They came together to share resources and create synergies in order to achieve what they could not achieve by themselves. Sharing and partnership, combined in a modern, reasonable and intelligent manner, are the values that sustain Lavradores de Feitoria. From the very beginning, the objective was to create wines that respected their origin, in a declared commitment to the excellence and Douro tradition. THE NEW WINE CELLAR The year 2021 was marked by the inauguration of the new headquarters and winery. Shareholders, team and clients now have a "home" that will allow them to continue the footprint already left by Lavradores de Feitoria, bringing even more quality to the wines produced there. It remains close to Sabrosa, but now in a privileged location: situated in “Quinta do Medronheiro”. The wine portfolio is essentially made up of dry wines: Lavradores de Feitoria brands (white, rosé and red), Três Bagos (Sauvignon Blanc white, Reserva white, Reserva red, Grande Escolha red, Grande Escolha Estágio Prolongado red and Late Harvest), Meruge (white and red), Quinta da Costa das Aguaneiras (red) Vinha do Sobreiro (red). It also has the brands Cheda, Gadiva and Estrada, as well as others for very specific clients and markets, in addition to celebration wines.
