The Farmhouse “Le Torri” is the perfect place for those who want to spend their holiday and relaxing moments in touch with a fascinating nature and for those who would like to taste high-quality oil and wines. The Estate is located in the heart of Tuscany, halfway between the beautiful cities of Florence and Siena. This is also the perfect setting for travellers interested in the relationship between human beings and nature. Just for the respect for the surrounding and feeding nature they installed a photovoltaic module. Through the sun, an important renewable energy, they produce enough electric energy for themselves and reduce thus the environmental impact. It is surrounded by hills, medieval villages and an unique landscape which you will hardly forget... The farmhouse started its activity in 1980, when some friends, although they worked in different fields, showed a common interest in making wine and olive oil in such a beautiful place. Their passion, attention and care in facing this new challenge, led them to aim for high-quality products.

The vineyards cover an area of 28 ha, which is particularly suitable for grapes growing due to its climate and altitude (300-350 metres above sea level). The vines are laid out in a way that allows them to make the most of the sun and the good weather in general. The vineyards consist mainly of Sangiovese (of several different varieties), Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Canaiolo, Colorino, Chardonnay, and Trebbiano Toscano, all of them in a number of varieties. The plants are laid out diametrically up to 6,250 plants. The cultivation methods, totally respect their main objective: the quality of the grapes. It means short pruning and well-balanced fertilisation; some leaves are removed, so that more air and sunshine can reach through to the bunches of grapes.
