About Winery and Wines

We are a small winery in the Aosta Valley. The company was born in 2018 by the will of few friends. We have always followed the organic and biodynamic method (since we started working the vineyards in 2015). Our philosophy is "less is more": reducing interventions to a minimum, so that nature can take its course, only by accompanying it. We focus a lot on eco-sustainability and on making our way of working known through visits. All the tasks are carried out by hand or by a draft horse called "Lupo".

fénic - It is our base wine, made from native Aosta Valley grapes with a prevalence of Petit Rouge, followed by Vuillermin, Fumin, Vien de Nus and Cornalin, from old vineyards (the most recent are from the 1970s). Aged for a year and a half in steel.

Vigneron - Small production of two Pinot Noir vineyards arranged in opposite ways: the first north-east and the second south-east.

Made in VdA - Small production - around 250 bottles a year - for a local Fumin - based wine, which we refine for three years in wood. Available from 2025 onwards.

100 franchi - This is a "gem" of our winery: the wine is the result of two centuries-old vineyards (the "youngest" was planted in 1906), with the particularity of still being all ungrafted (i.e. not grafted onto American rootstock). As far as we know, it is the only red wine produced in the Aosta Valley on an ungrafted basis.

Allobrogo - Piedmontese vines have been present for a long time in the Aosta Valley territory.
Given that our vineyards are patchily "patterned" with Piedmontese vines (the result of replacing the faults that occurred years ago, when Piedmontese vines were in fashion), we decided to bring together this production to make it a "foreign" wine in the Aosta Valley .
It is interesting to taste it: Piedmontese vines do well on the rugged mountain territories of the Aosta Valley.
