Mancinelli Stefano Azienda Agricola

Stefano Mancinelli’s winery is located on the gentle hills of Morro d’Alba, about 10 km from the Adriatic Sea, in the province of Ancona, within one of the most suitable inland areas of the Marche region. The estate covers around 60 hectares, including 25 hectares of vineyards dedicated to the production of DOC wines.

The family has always had a strong connection to viticulture and winemaking, combining traditional knowledge with modern techniques. Vineyard management focuses on quality through controlled yields, achieved via careful pruning, green harvesting, and multiple harvest passes. The estate also stands out for its on-site distillery—the first in the region—and for its olive groves, with around 2,500 trees producing high-quality extra virgin olive oil processed immediately after harvest. The philosophy of the winery is rooted in enhancing the typicality of the territory while integrating innovation across the cellar, oil mill, and distillery.

The winery specializes in the production of two key DOC wines typical of the area: Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi DOC Classico and Lacrima di Morro d’Alba DOC. In particular, Lacrima stands out as the flagship wine, having received numerous prestigious awards such as Cinque Grappoli Bibenda, Corona Vini Buoni d’Italia, and Le Marche nel Bicchiere Eccellenza.

Another notable expression is the Lacrima Passito “Re Sole,” also widely awarded, confirming the winery’s ability to interpret this native grape in different styles. The production is complemented by IGT wines such as Marche Rosso and Marche Bianco.

A premium line, “Terre dei Goti,” represents the estate’s highest-quality selections, produced only in the best vintages through stricter selection and specific winemaking processes. These wines are designed to express the full potential of the territory, combining structure, elegance, and depth.
