About Winery and Wines
Martignago Winery is a family-run business that prides itself on blending tradition with passion for the land. Managed by Francesca, Lucio, Simone, Maria, little Gioele, Grandma Maddalena, and Filippo, the winery is rooted in the belief that guests are not just visitors but part of the family. The winery is first and foremost a farm, with everything revolving around a deep love and respect for nature. This strong connection to the land has led to the pursuit of organic certification for their wines. For Martignago, nature is seen as the best technology when properly supported, and this philosophy is reflected in their sustainable practices and warm hospitality. Guests are welcomed with simplicity and are encouraged to enjoy the authenticity of farm life, where ancient traditions are kept alive.
Martignago Winery specializes in cultivating 8 hectares of vineyards, with Glera being the main variety, the cornerstone of their Asolo Prosecco Superiore DOCG. Referred to as "The Salty Prosecco" by their customers, this sparkling wine is mineral-rich with a good structure, making it ideal for both aperitifs and meals, particularly in its sugar-free version. While Prosecco takes center stage, Martignago also produces refined Cabernet and Merlot wines, light yet expressive, benefiting from the ideal growing conditions in Maser. The winery takes pride in controlling the entire production chain, from the vineyard to bottling, ensuring quality at every step. As proud members of the FIVI (Italian Federation of Independent Winegrowers), they emphasize the importance of nurturing their vineyards over utilizing extravagant techniques, producing wines that authentically reflect the terroir of the region.
