Masùt da Rive’s vinery entrusted by the father to the son since the early 1900s, today expresses the four generations’ ripe fruit which have led the business with family devotion during a centuries-old experience reached until now. Masùt da Rive is the elected name to represent Gallo’s family around the world. His origin comes from the historic name used to call the family in Mariano del Friuli, the small rural village where it resides. During these years Fabrizio and Marco Gallo, the actual leaders, have responded to the challenge received from their father Silvano, keep believing in the wonderful enological passion. With offering and commitment they have reached an important goal promised to their predecessor: make known a small family-owned business reality to the world. Today the challenge is carring on with the same passion and the same determination of the beginnings. After several years of strong assignment, their father Silvano is involved in a delicate initiative: he devotes a part of his time to keep the family diary with memories, vinery and local traditions’ stories so that everything will be preserved. Thanks to his commitment, during the seventies the vinery did the first great leap forward with the production of refined wine and prestigious labels giving up the only “bland” yield, choise paid off with splendid results.
