About Winery and Wines

Olianas winery, located in Gergei, Sardinia, was founded in 2002 by Stefano Casadei along with Artemio Olianas, Sardinian friend and business partner and entrepreneur in Florentine hospitality. The winery combine modernity and tradition, with fermentation in Georgian and Impruneta's amphoraes and racking by gravity. The work in the vineyard is completely biodynamic and our horses Vegas and Dinette, mark with their hooves the time of the work respectful of nature. The goal is to produce high quality wines with a very strong bond with the terroir. We focused exclusively on indigenous Sardinian varieties, vinified without use of yeasts or enzymes that could contribute to losing the typicality of the grape. The company consists of 20 hectares, 17 of which are vineyards. In addition to Organic certification and Biodiversity Friend, the company is the place where Biointegrale method drews its origins.

All our wines are produced following the BioIntegrale Protocol, a new agricoltural ethics. BioIntegrale is not mere philosophy but a concrete plan: protecting the environment and the people who work there, is the essential requirement; build a better future is its primary objective; finding the balance between of ancient agronomic methods and modern scientific knowledge, is the method. This means, for example, to reintroduce the animals on the farm: processing vineyards respectfully avoiding soil compaction, and contributing to the natural fertilization of it.
